Job Responsibilities

You will work as a mentor at the lower secondary level (grades 4-6). You will be part of a grade-level team where you, together with your colleagues, support each other in daily work and jointly drive the development of teaching and operations.

Qualifications

Basic requirements for the position:

• Certified teacher with a Swedish teaching license for grades 4-6.
• You are well acquainted with the school's steering and goal documents.
• We assume that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both orally and in writing.

Personal qualities:

You are cooperative, flexible, and independent. It is expected that you are structured, analytical, and work in a goal-oriented manner. You want to actively participate in developing our unit and create a compensatory school that benefits all students.

You are skilled at seeing students' needs and changing your approach, treatment, and work methods to create the best conditions for each student. You thrive as a clear and warm leader in the classroom, where you have the ability to create a mix of routines, predictability, extra adaptations, and flexibility. You find it interesting and creative to work with understanding and developing students as well as the class as a group. This means you need to be able to work independently and structured with good collaboration skills. You also need to have an analytical approach. You have a talent for creating trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Merit qualifications:

• Competence in language-developing work methods, visual support, low-affective treatment, and experience working as a class teacher in a multicultural school.
• Well acquainted with Office365 and specifically OneNote and Teams, which are used extensively in operations.
